Since 1995, I have been a fishing charter captain in Sarasota, Siesta Key, Lido Key and Longboat Key, and now with my son Captain Ryan Abbott, have been fortunate to bring thousands of families fishing and have enjoyed watching the children grow into adults and bring their children fishing.

At Abbott’s Family Charters, our passionate and experienced team is committed to making your fishing experience seamless and enjoyable. From teaching you how to bait your line to helping you reel in your catch and master the perfect netting technique, we’re here every step of the way. Whether it’s your first time fishing or you’re a seasoned pro, we’ll ensure your day is both educational and fun.

“We were picked up at the public boat ramp near Sarasota’s Mote Marine Aquarium. We went out for a four hour fishing trip on Sarasota bay with my 13 year old son. We caught many different species of fish, with the highlight being a large red fish from out of a mangrove forest. Captain Greg knew how to connect with everyone in our party, young and old.
